libtext-levenshtein-perl software package provides implementation of the Levenshtein edit distance, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtext-levenshtein-perl
libtext-levenshtein-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtext-levenshtein-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtext-levenshtein-perl *
You will get with libtext-levenshtein-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
